2014 Trail Premium, 41,500 miles
About 2 weeks ago the truck started shifting a little slow. Figured it was just the cold, it’s be a constant 20 below for a while.
Now it’s to the point where it’s slipping pretty good, RPM’s are coming up, then it’ll drop to normal. If I slow to 5-10 mph then give it gas it winds up and slams in gear. Reverse takes about 5-10 seconds to engage after coming out of drive. When stopping, it slips a little and goes back in gear but lurches the truck a little. When I take off it goes up to about 1500 rpm then engages.
To me everything is pointing to the torque converter, just weird that it came on so quick. Nothings leaking. Haven’t checked the fluid level though. Gonna be a PITA in the snow...
Anyone else had or know of transmission issues?
