Shin rubbing on center console

I am trying to visualize this. One major factor in me buying the 4r was the leg room (I am 6'3"). My Ford edge was so small, I had about a two inch wiggle room between the steering wheel and center console, I hate it on anything longer than an hour, did not notice on the test drive this problem.

I do not have this issue with the 4r. The side of my lower leg rests comfortable on the side of the console, and plenty of room to move my leg around on long trips.

The only solution of you want nothing touching your leg is a truck.

6'4" and I have a problem with it hitting right below my knee, it does suck on long drives.

lol, you can tell who's short in this thread because they can't comprehend a shin hitting the center console

its pretty common, your right leg is bent and you are pressing the gas pedal sideways almost with the outside edge of your foot because its the only way you fit, this causes your shin to hit the center console

I'm 6'1", and my shin does contact the center console, but if it gets to be annoying I just move the seat back a little until it doesn't. Previous car was a 2007 Civic and the E brake handle was always leaving a dent in my leg, no matter what I did with the seat, so this minor annoyance is a damn sight better than that.

I can't wait until the day I get to swap the damn car seat behind the drivers seat to front facing. Sometimes I catch myself day dreaming about leg room. This car seat sucks.

Everyone should just do what I did and mount a HAM radio to the console right there so your leg rests against that instead. Just have to watch out when transmitting 'cause it gets a little toasty.
