Shock replacement question

So I've done some searching around here, and haven't quite found anything relevant to what I'm going to ask. I don't think my torsion bars have been messed with, my Runner came stock from an elderly lady. But would changing the front shocks be a hassle if the torsion bars were cranked? Kind of confused on the whole deal. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

no. stock length should work even if cranked up. Though the shock may be a bit short full drop (which could be bad if you wheel the pi$$ out of it & constantly allow the suspension to max out.)

being cranked wont make it harder to install or remove.

So I got all four ball joints done and replaced both front shocks tonight. Rides better to me and it doesn't have that clanking sound coming from the upper ball joint anymore. Definitely feeling accomplished. Thanks for your input guys.
