Keen Newport H2 closed toe sandals. Im addicted and have 4 pair. Winter or summer, in or out of water, socks or none they fit my sole perfect. If they feel good for you you will be a Keen freak, there are a lot of them out there.

YES, that's what I was describing. Sure you might look like a tree hugging Subaru enthusiast but the Newport H2's are the jam.

I pretty much live in my keens if i'm not working (in boots), they'll go anywhere and make for the best wet wading shoe on the planet.

That being said I do live in the "the peoples republic of boulder" and they are everywhere here, but i've gotten some funny looks stepping out of the car wearing them on road trips

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like "trail runners" are slightly ahead in the voting so that's the direction I'll head. Nice to hear from some non-5th geners. I don't spend enough time looking at the other forum sections.
