Shop recommendations for LA

Hi All,

I have the opportunity to move south from the Bay area to LA for work. I likely will be making this move within the next few months, so I wanted to get prepared and make sure I had a good shop already lined up to take care of my 99.

Do any of y'all have good shops that you would recommend for alignment work(truck drives great now but it's always nice to have a reputable and trustworthy shop that can do front end work) and a good general repair shop?

Thanks in advance!

I got two for ya brotha

If you're willing to make the drive down to OC, I would recommend Import Auto Clinic off of 91 near 57. Family owned place, but quite large.
I took my 97 there last summer for a few things - the largest being the timing belts, pump, and radiator. Great guys, no-bullshit. Provided a check list with photos of every "problem or point of concern" they found after my initial problem I came in with (a misfire) and I went through all the other things with them on the phone deciding what I wanted them to do while they had it, and which others I would do on my own at a later time.

I've worked in and around automotive in SoCal most of the last 11 years and have friends that own shops (but specialized in other vehicles).. at no point did I feel the team at IAC was fluffing-up any of the work they said I should consider either immediately, or in the near future. My "list" was just long because it's a 20 year old car, haha.

If you just need alignment and need something closer to LA, proper.
Temple City Auto Repair in Temple City is an alignment shop owned by a buddy. Great guy, very well known around many car groups in the area.

The city is 500 square miles, the surrounding areas is 10 times that, where will you be living and working?
