short extension cord for center console

I have a 2006 4Runner Limited. Currently, I am using the rear power output (cigarette lighter-type) with an extension cord that I bought from Radio Shack to re-charge my iPhone and work cell phone. I have a dual input USB charger plugged into that. This is not working anymore for some reason. Does anyone know if there is a very shory 2-prong extension cord (basically a plug extender) that I could plug into the center console AC outlet, and then plug a dual-input USB jack into that?

I'm confused, why are you not utilizing the 12v power outlet next to the shifter? And does your vehicle come with the optional 110v power outlet located in the center console?

Chances are you might have blown the fuse for the outlet, a little more information would be helpful.

I agree, check your fuses. If you are set on using the 115v instead of either of the 12v plugs. You can easily make an extender. Or shorten an extention cord.

I think his dual plug outlet won't plug into the one beside shifter because of the doors that cover it.

I believe he wants something to make it sit higher so that he can use that outlet.

I ended up just installing a couple of extra outlets in mine. I have one by the stereo and one in the cubby under (not inside) the console lid.

Buying the smokers kit with dual plugs is another option reefcomber. It replaces that cubby and lighter plug with an ashstray, a lighter, and 2 outlets.

I think they're $50-70 though, so not cheap.

I would highly recommend the smokers ash tray kit with dual outlets, I got mine on ebay

As for the rear not working, sounds like a blown fuse
