It's a great kit, I love mine. I don't do much fancy race car shifting in my truck though :bounce:
I wish I could! Stupid auto transmission that shifts like a commuter sedan. Regearing helped a lot though.

Ha after some research I found there are shifting techniques for helping to avoid this issue. Not trying to hotrod or anything but there are times when I like to shift down to 4th fairly quickly when going up steep grades in the mountains or engine braking coming down. Decided to go ahead and purchase the LCE kit.
i reckon you'll love it. i installed the urd one a couple of months ago and love it. between that and replacing the bushings its wild how much different (mostly better) it feels. i've had a couple of user errors - the first time putting it in reverse i thought i couldn't get in, the throw was so much shorter than before - and while the long throw is kinda more fun on trail, daily driving is much nicer with the short shifter. wish i'd done this long ago
So you actually think long throw is better on trail? I figured I was going to prefer short on trail for those times when I'm cruising in 3rd and suddenly see an obstacle. I know I will enjoy the new bushings and getting rid of the slop.
