Hey All,
A couple of weeks ago, I changed out my front calipers due to one of the pistons being seized and all is working well now. Last night, the VSC Off, skid control, ABS and VSC Trac lights all came on as well as the parking brake light. I'm thinking I stretched one of the ABS Sensor wires and caused a small short, since one of the calipers slipped out of my hand while I was trying to hook it to the frame after removing it from the back of the hub.
There is also some feedback from the radio, which again, leads me to believe that I stretched one of the wires and it is arcing causing that feedback.
I have a code reader, but it doesn't read ABS codes. Also, the codes cleared as soon as I turned the car off and back on. I'm thinking about just ordering the wiring harness for the side that I believe is the issue, and reusing the actual sensor since I believe it is still fine.
Am I headed in the right direction? Anyone have anything similar happen before?
Edit: I did already do a zero point calibration and the check engine light is not on, only the lights I mentioned, just FYI to everyone.
