Wondering what you used, and how you mounted.
I thought about upgrading the reverse lights for a while or putting in auxiliary ones because my visibility sucks at night. But I just skipped all that and did a backup camera. Much cleaner than cutting up the truck to install led pods and I know exactly what is behind me without even turning around.

Dude is still selling them after all these years
Here they are:
2006 2007 2008 TOYOTA JAPAN HILUX SURF 4RUNNER LED REAR FOG KIT JDM VIP | eBay
There's a note in the listing about shaving the one side of the opening,
I didn't have to do that.
That's pretty COOL, care to elaborate on how you converted them?
The Mod I'm most interested in is how you got the lights to chirp like birds!!
Those are really nice!!
But man you weren't kidding when you said they were expensive...$306 with shipping.... I'll have to pass on them, one day I will get some motivation and make up a set, sure wished I had a 3D printer to make what I need to do them without having to make them custom by hand!!!

You can get them for half the price from another seller, only difference being the less expensive pair uses standard incandescent bulbs and the ones in the above auction have LED bulbs...you can buy some very bright white or even white/yellow switchback bulbs for less than that $150 markup.
They're rear bumper light assemblies for the Toyota Landcruiser Prado 120 by the way.
