Show me your aux reverse lights

I was thinking about trying to flush mount these right into the back bumper.

sorry for the giant picture.

I think those will be too long and not conform with the curve of the bumper. I used these Rigid lights and they fit perfect.

Can you provide a link for everyone ? I bought these 6 years ago so I'm sure there's more options now.

The one I bought actually has 2 bulbs in each lense . I'm just using the main bulb for the reverse . I left the other bulb in there but not wired up . It can be used as additional tail/stop light or side marker or even Turn signals , just have to get the appropriate colored bulbs for the application .

Cheap Kawell brand work lights from Amazon mounted on the two plastic bumper tabs wired into a switch, right next to the anytime backup camera switch. Great for backing up and backing people off. A coworker has used these lights as fogs on his daily driver for over a year with no issues, I would recommend them.

I was able to find a photo online showing the backside.
You can see the green/white wires is for the second light. I dont remember what kind of bulb, it may actually be a LED panel in there. I've not had to remove these since they were installed so its been a long time since I've seen them.

Parking light/ main light set up. Pretty cool, almost wish my bumper was set up them.

Not my idea, but it works good, bumper acts as a 'cut off' line, (the light wont blind anyone).

The benefit of having my "reverse" lights up on my roof rack is that when people have their brights on behind me on the highway, I can "remind" them to turn them off.. :bounce:

I bought this on EBAY from a seller in Japan, they replace the reflectors in the rear bumper and have turn signal style bulbs in them. The best thing is they look totally stock. They were pricey but were the only clear option available at the time.

Daytime pics don't do it justice, they are pretty bright! I can grab some night time shots if anyone cares.

They are wired to the reverse lights in the tail light housing. I put in some very expensive LED bulbs from VLEDS.com. Before installation I applied hot glue around the inner seams to prevent any chance of leakage into the lenses. They've held up great for 6 years.

I believe similar year Land Cruisers and Hilux models in Japan have these from factory but they're red lenses.

These are awesome. I was gonna say the housing plus an LED bulb would make them perfect but you already did it.

Any issues regarding wear on the wires exposed on the outside? I'm more concerned about snow buildup on areas where wires are - I wouldn't want to see a chunk of ice fall onto the ground after a day of snowfall. I do wash the underbody after snowdays but I'm not sure how durable wiring can be in situations like that. Looks like a nice clean install - I'm considering putting duallies in the same area. It looks ideal especially when I want to have a stealth look

well the mod was to convert the tail as turn signals and use the signal part as added reverse lights.
i used diodedynamics tail as turn module, a little bit of rewire. also have a switch inside so i dont need to always use the reverse gear.
also my reverse lights are all 15w hids, so i did make a relay harness. i have full control of the lights, turn it on to do anti tailgaters.
the video was taken at about 430 in the morning since its when i get off work.

Yep. Really. Can see great now and use them for scene lighting while offroading/camping. Those of us that actually use our trucks offroad and have tons of gear on our trucks.
