Show me your auxiliary Fog or Driving lights!

Hey guys,

I've been considering either modifying or getting rid of my Safari light bar for a while. The more I look at it, the more I wish is sat higher and gave me more clearance in the front.

I've been thinking of getting rid of the bar all together, but would like to see where you guys are mounting your extra lights. I'm not really interested in buying a new bumper, but those who have them, show off your stuff!

My current lights are cheapo driving lights that actually came with my light bar, but once those die, I'm planning on getting some PIAA's or KC Lights that are the same size.

Im kinda like you, ive been kicking around ditching my brush guard for a setup kinda like yours. Im interested to see other place people mounted the lights too.

I would have driven it thru my radiator years ago. It sits way to low for me. I hit my bumper as it is.

This is where I was thinking of mounting mine! Glad to see those lights fit there! My bumper is slightly different though......

Here's my set up.....then again, I guess you already seen it.
I chose this pic to show you the similarity of our trucks before I blacked out the bumper and grill, no hood scoop, installed hood deflector, and stock corner and bumper lenses.

THis is one of my favorite pics of your rig! I'm thinking of mounting my lights on each side of the license plate bracket.....but not totally sure yet!

I'm kinda on the fence about getting rid of my light bar.....I've had it on there for so long, and it hides an ugly spot behind one of the lights, that was there when I bought the truck. Not to mention, there aren't too many 4Runners with that light bar around, and I'm a big fan of originality!

Here's my light bar. It's not an aftermarket, my brother custom made it for me. Just wanted to show it.

How would you mount them by the license plate?

The lights would hand down over each side of the licence plate bracket, but would be mounted to the inner lip of the bumper........it would look similar to Deceptiwave's only on my bumper............

I know where they would go, I just don't know how you would support them there.

I thought about that spot, but only saw plastic to support the lights.

I have 8" Eagle Eye 100watt off road lights on top of my custom bumper. And 4" KC 55watt foglights inside the bumper. This somewhat inexpensive setup works really well for me. I get good long range from the off road lights and good side light from the fogs. You need a custom bumper.
