**** Shrockworks. They ****ed me over so hard. They took about 8 months to make my bumper (that cost like 2000$), sent me the wrong one, didnt ship me the lights i ordered for over a month after the bumper. Total trainwreck. Then when I installed it, It was way too heavy for front suspension. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

This is so much unsubstantiated BS and flat out stupidity that it doesn't even warrant a response.

I would like a bumper but I have to admit the stories I hear do put me off

What stories are you hearing?

Because other than people complaining about their long lead time, which they fully disclose by the way, I have heard nothing but good things about them. Also, I can personally say that my experience with them was awesome, they were very helpful, and my bumper arrived just as I had ordered it.

HAAHAA good one bro. If you had the experience i had you would understand where i am coming from.

I watched both of your youtube videos that have to do with your Shrockworks experience and here is the list of your complaints that I was able to gather:
1. It took 8 months to make your bumper
2. They sent you a bumper with full tubing instead of just the center hoop
3. They didn't send you the lights you ordered
4. Poor MPG
5. Your comment on the first youtube video, "Its squeaking, rattling, and I would be shocked if my front suspension doesnt get destroyed from living on a dirt road and handling all the bumps with an extra 125+ pounds."

Now allow me to elaborate on your stupidity and BS.
1. Shrockworks fully discloses their long lead times on their website right in the description of the bumper. If you didn't want to wait, then don't order from them. Also, in your video you said it only took 5 months, but then you post here and say it took 8 months. Why the 3 month discrepancy? Get your story straight.

2. I can completely understand your disappointment that you did not receive exactly what you ordered, BUT people make mistakes and it's not like they did it intentionally. Don't get me wrong, I definitely would have been disappointed, but I also would have given them a chance to make the situation right before whining about it in a youtube video and writing them off completely. Based on your video, I would be praising SW for their customer service if I were you because they did everything they could to fix the situation. They gave you the option to either send the bumper back and have them replace it with the exact one that you ordered OR take "$400-$500" off your order. So because you "did not want to deal with it" you got $400-$500 off your order. So maybe you can explain to me how that is "F***ing you over"? You still got an awesome bumper at a 20%-25% discount. Call me crazy but that sounds like pretty damn good customer service.

3. I can also understand your disappointment that they didn't include the lights you ordered, BUT again, people make mistakes. In your follow up video you say that they sent you the lights "about 3 weeks" after you received the bumper but here you say it was over a month. Again, why the discrepancy? Also, while it may have been a little longer than expected, I think most people will agree that 3 weeks isn't an unreasonable about of time. Again it seems like Shrockworks sent you the lights and made the situation right.

4. This is just plain ignorance/stupidity. I think it's pretty obvious that adding an additional 125+ lbs is going to affect your MPG. If you want better MPG, then trade in your T4R for a Prius. Better yet, sell it to someone on here who will actually USE the bumper for what it's designed for, rather than mall crawling.

5. Again, this is just flat out ignorance/stupidity. If the bumper is rattling and squeaking then you didn't install it correctly, it's that simple. Judging by you youtube video it is probably squeaking because you have it installed right up against the body/fenders. The frame and body are separate from each other so they can flex when off-roading (you probably wouldn't know anything about that though...) which is exactly why aftermarket bumper manufacturers recommend leaving 1/2" between the bumper and the body. You either didn't follow the directions, didn't do any research, or didn't know enough to installing the bumper yourself...How is that Shrockworks' fault?

Lastly, anyone who knows anything about our trucks knows that adding an additional 125+ lbs is going to affect the suspension, especially a stock suspension that was not designed for the extra weight. Why do you think there are multiple companies that make suspension components that are designed to support additional weight? This is 100% your fault for not doing the proper research beforehand.

With all of that being said, moderators please ban this troll. (Judging by his other 4 posts) He clearly just created an account to ***** and whine about Shrockworks, even though they did everything they could to correct the situation AND many of his complaints are just flat out inexperience and/or ignorance/stupidity on his part. It's pretty clear that he has nothing positive to contribute to this forum.

I apologize for the long-winded response but someone had to put this spoiled, dumb kid in his place.

Back to the topic: I would definitely buy a Shrockworks t-shirt!

For someone who claims to have been screwed over as hard as you have, you sure seem to be wearing their amour pretty proudly in your signature picture

That's really not a bad idea. I'll mention it to our web guy and see if we cant get something put something together. We've had T-Shirts in the past, but our popular sizes have been depleted and we need to find a new supplier.

I would like a bumper but I have to admit the stories I hear do put me off

I'll be the first to admit that we are perfectly capable of making mistakes, but we will stand behind our products and service 100% to make it right when/if they occur.

We ship masses of orders every week to everyone from forum members to those who cant even figure out how to turn on a computer, and might here back from a few a month with response weather it be good or bad. But, the small faction of our orders that are mishandle are always taken care of. Don't let a few scary stories scare you away. We'd love the opportunity to add you to the list of our satisfied customers.

Thank you for the support. I've been keeping an eye on your truck and waiting to see your bumper installed. Looks great!

We sincerely apologize for all the trouble had with your order, but when given the opportunity to make it right we stepped up to the plate. Our lead times are certainly a little longer than most would like but 8 months is a bit of an exaggeration. According to our records, from the date you placed your order to the date it was shipped was right at 4 months and 2 weeks. I know it can feel like an eternity when your waiting and can get a bit ahead of yourself. I'm certainly guilty of this from time to time.

I hope you enjoy the product as much as others do and the truck looks looks awesome!
