I think it is time to applaud Jim for his timeframe - these were delivered in 30 days from the time I ordered. Obviously the early orders took longer, but this is more than reasonable IMO.
Installation was straight forward. My only hiccup was not having as many threaded holes in my frame (which Jim alerts to in the instructions) as anticipated. There is an option to drill extra holes up front which I have not yet done, so these are attached with 6 bolts on each side.
As others have pointed out, they sit perfectly parallel to the line of the tires, meaning if you look straight down they appear deeper towards the rear as the body curves in. They look awesome and could not be stronger, and are very functional as steps. After picking up two paint chips from a door ding on my 3rd day of ownership, I only wish Jim offered a telescoping version that extend out another 12" when I park the truck. Two thumbs way up on these rock rails :thumb3: :thumb3:
