I purchased them right away when they were available. They were available for a few days but I guess he sold out right away. Seems like most his products sell out right away.

Same, when they were posted on here I jumped on them. Meso's products don't stay on his website for long so I ordered them as soon as I saw them.

The puddle lights only come on when the door is opened though. That's why most of us have ditch lights

Mine come on when I unlock the doors with the remote.

I noticed that the Tacoma Puddle Pods are available on their website now. Hopefully the 4R version will be back soon.

As for the SMT LEDs, are they exposed (you can feel the sharp rectangular edges with your finger), or is the circular array protected under a glass or plastic lens?

There is a glass lens protecting the diodes.

Actually they come on when you walk up to the 4runner before you unlock it. I think it senses the key system. Mine does it with the limited.

Yeah, you gotta be careful with those clips, I've had my mirrors apart 3 times already and it's nerve-wracking, you have to be super careful

Yes, those trim pieces just snap together, remove the 2 screws

They just pull apart

Change of mind and I skipped the MESO puddle light upgrade and just stayed with led bulb upgrade, was hesitant if they would make that much of a difference for $100.

The cartrimhome dynamic turnsignals came in today and just swapped them out. Youi can tell they are made for a rav4 but still went in ok. Missing a clip in point but they fit snug after all done. They are not any brighter than stock but the dynamic blinking works well.
