Silverdale/kitsap area new member

What's up guys! My names cody first time 4runner owner. I live in silverdale. Up here because the wife is in the navy. I don't have much to offer, most of my tools are home in CA but always willing to lend a hand. Don't know much places to wheel up here but can't wait to break in my new trail on some forest logging roads sometime! Any one know of anything? Currently my trail is stock but got a list of mods that will go one as the funds and wife allow!

Welcome to the 4runner forum lots of great info here.
I just moved back here also after being gone for a long time both with the military and with my job.
Currently the family is still back in Boston with my 4Runner and the house is going on sale tomorrow.
Washington is a great place you will find out and especially over on the Olympic peninsula area.

Theres some really good spots out near Belfair and Seabeck, not a long drive at all from Silverdale, also check out Green Mountain, great mtn biking up there and some occasional wheeling spots. Best places I found were the hundreds of miles of trails out on the Olympic peninsula. Head across the bridge and just explore. Stop at the ranger stations and pick up a few maps and have fun. If you head across the water take I-90 towards North Bend and there are many places there. Washington has anything and everything you could want really, snow, mud, dirt in the mountains of the wet side and then desert running in the east side of the cascades. I currently am stuck in socal right now but head up the Silverdale every couple months to visit family and catch the hawks games. Let me know if you have any questions.

finally got her out to tahuya forest to stretch out her "muscles" it was some good fun out there
the suspension on the trail can handle quite a bit, played around on the 4x4 loop stuff and on some rand9om other trails that i came across. top favs from this trip, yellwo jacket trail and riff raff.
now im sure ill be out there every weekend
hopefully to find some new trails to play around on

Its all good check the 5th gen forum under seattle area meet up thats the group i go with they are mostly stock too and so is my 2nd gen but there are a few places to go tahuya is good for a stock rig i have pic of mine out there but me and my girl want to go out on newyears day since we dont drink we wont be fighting off a hangover so if ur done for than we maybe able to afford to go on two trips this week
