Simple Lift

Im very new to the off road world, I dont do it much, but sometimes on fishing trips I have to make my way through some hairy spots. Im just looking to do something mild and basic for extra ground clearance. What would be my least expensive and reliable option?

All lifts are simple. Its just removing and replacing parts.

IMHO, it sounds like a set of Bilstein 5100 front shocks, set to level your 4runner, would be a good option.
