Single 12" Kicker istall

Hi i am thinking of doing a single square 12" Kicker sub and making a stealth box to mount length-wise in the back of the bed. Utilizing one of the jack/tool storage compartments. So what type of material should i use for the face of the box? The rest will be wood but i am just trying to avoid a diy fibreglass job
Thanks

Mdf is fine, 5/8 is the minimum i would use as face, but 3/4 on all side so it dont split when screwed down. How about u do the 5/8 as the base of the face and have another with the hole bigger to make it look like a flush mount.

So two sections of 5/8 as the face, with my sub mounted to the inside piece? I like the idea of a flush mount since I am taking up that storage spot permanently. Any advice and tip/ideas are helpful as his will be my first diy audio install

Use cardboard and duct tape to make the design, it might takeva long time, nut once u are happy, u transger everything to wood and tweek it if u want it better.
