Sirius Install Instructions PDF ?

Hi all,
Does anyone have the .pdf of Toyota's instructions for an oem Sirius install ? I know they were going around on here some time ago, I hope someone still has them. I will be installing Sirius in the next week or two.

Also, for those who installed SAT radio, any suggestions on the routing of the cable from the SAT tuner (presumably under the passenger seat) to the head unit ? Are you taking it up the side of the passenger seat and through the console to the dash ?

Last question: To those that have mounted their antenna IN the dash, are you getting consistent signal with no drop outs ? If so, where did you mount the antenna in the dash ?

Thanks in Advance,

Markr

Did you actually get a Sirius radio kit?

A friend has had one "on order" for months now, and Toyota keeps tap dancing about the delivery date.

XM is easy to get, as there is some sort of marketing deal with XM and Toyota/Lexus. Sirius is obviously another story.

I would imagine the installation between Sirius and XM would be the same, wouldn't it? Or would the antenna be different?

I too would be curious to see the instructions. :)

Here is my Sirius set up. I have the Sportster and boom box for the house. Just bring it inside with me when I get out of the rig. Not a fan of stuff like this and would prefer the sat through the head unit but have to listen to Howard Stern (King of all Media)when I drive. Only wires exposed are the ones from the unit that run under the center con and it's like 3 of them. I got power from the cig outlet.

You can download the instructions (and a lot of other stuff) here for $10: TIS

Just did the install last weekend on my wife's 4Runner. Just under 4 hours taking my time, including activation. Follow the instructions, shows right where to route the wires. The antenna mounts to the inside of the windshield to the right of the rear view mirror. So far no signal problems except where you would expect, it even worked in my garage!

I ordered mine from partznet Oct. 2, it arrived Oct. 9. They did not send instructions with it, however, and after 5 or 6 phone calls, and them telling me they would send them, I never did get the instructions from partznet. With installation day getting closer, I went ahead and paid the $10 and got them online.
