skid plate install pics

HELP!!!!!!!
anyone have install pics of the skid plate. I just need a close up of the bracket bolted to the frame and the skid plate. I also need a part # for the "mushrooming" rivet on the bracket. thanks for the help.

Based on your description of a "mushrooming rivet" I assume you mean the fake skid plate that attaches below the bumper, and not the factory skidplate?

yes. i am talking about the toyota skid plate that is ordered as an accessory. it is the aluminum gray that mounts above the tow hooks

What are you having issues with? Pictures won't help much since it's just 2 bolts on each side.

I bought this used from another member. The upper bolt is a mushrooming rivet and i can not find an individual part #. I was told by my local Toyota dealer that part is part of the "kit" and can not be bought individually.

I can see how that's a problem. Try a hardware store.

What you want is called an M8 RIVNUT. There is no Toyota part number for it, but they can be bought online.
