Sliders and XREAS lines

I started to install my Shrockworks sliders on the 14 LE today and ran into a problem I haven't seen discussed. The XREAS (I think that's what they are) lines run down the side of the frame and if you try to install the slider under them, then the gusset for the slider will rub against them hard. I assume other sliders may have the same problem.

So here is how I solved it and I was wondering if anyone else did something different.

Spaced the "pump?" away using spacers and longer screws.

I then reused the plastic retainer clips by clipping them onto the gusset and zip-tieing the XREAS line to the back of it.

Anyone else have a different solution other than ripping out XREAS (in due time)?

I'm facing this issue now. Did you add rubber lines to the stock rigid lines?

KDSS and XREAS compatible Shrockworks slider has removable gusset that secures with bolt around existing lines. Yours looks as it is for non KDSS model.

I had the same issue with my KDSS lines this is pretty common - I was able to bend the hard lines around the gusset and used a screwdriver handle to form the bend to prevent a kink. Took some force as those lines are tough and there isn’t a lot of room for leverage

No, they bend a bit on their own. Spacing out the pump gave it a slight enough bend so it would work.

Mine has the removable gusset. But only one per side and it was for the parking brake line if I remember right. Is there a version with all the gussets removable?

Driver side towards the rear of the slider is the only area where KDSS line sits on outside of the frame. that is the only one removable gusset you need. As for XREAS I'm not 100% sure but Shrockworks most likely has a solution for those lines and valves in the way weather relocation or multiple gussets.

I bought Budbuilt and my 'beefy' bumpout sliders cleverly avoided the XREAS lines. You have to pay for professional engineering IMHO.
