Slight wheel wobble. Need help to assess issue.

Hello! I bought a 2000 4wd limited runner about a year ago and in the last 6 months its started to wobble at high way speeds of 58-65 mph but speeds below and above it seems to disappear. Its not that the tires need to be balanced since ive recently just got new tires and they were balanced and the same wheel wobble remains after they are on. My alignment is fairly straight when driving on a level road but maybe it has something to do with it. I hope some one can help. Thanks!

who did the wheel balancing and which kind of 4runner rims do you have?

I have stock rims for the limited 4wd 2000 I'm not sure if they have a special name. Also discount tire balanced the bfg all terrain t/a KO's the tires are 265/75/16 but I'm not sure what the rim is. I want to say 16x7

Does the wobble persist if you quickly throw it into neutral while the vehicle is at that speed that causes the wobbling?

Well ive never tried that but ill try it some time later today and get back to you on that.

Sounds good, you should definitely try it, then hopefully you can better isolate where the vibration is coming from (ie. drivetrain vs wheels/tires).

I once had a bad re manufactured front axle (FWD car) which was driving me nuts because it would only vibrate at a particular speed range, and I couldn't figure out the cause, lol.

lug centric vs hub centric

Were they Road Force balanced with the lug centric adapter?
Lug nuts at correct torque spec?
