Thank you. I also have the Kicker Bass Station behind the seat, but this is smaller and I am hoping to get it under my driver's seat (as the amp for the other speakers is under the passenger seat). I can't figure out how you got it to fit and what did you do about the under seat vents?

Sorry to be a pain, but may I also ask how you ran the wire to the dash for the bass control knob? Along the console box or under the carpet? If you have a picture of both, you're my hero.

Incidentally, the sound quality of the Hideaway seems to be better than the larger bass station. It seems cleaner, if that can be discerned from a subwoofer.

Hate to tell you but I didn't do the install. I found an audio shop close by that only charged $150. I was planning on doing it myself after reading the instructions and seeing a couple YouTube videos showing how to remove the dash, etc but honestly I'm too busy with work and a wife, kid.

They put double sided tape/velcro on the bottom and just placed it on top the vent because that'll help keep it cool. I know they took my seat out to do and such so the $150 was a deal with running all the wires, mount the bass knob and have a warranty.

If you digest all the info in those threads, it's pretty easy actually. The only thing I wasn't able to easily do is run the wires from the center console underneath the carpet under my seat. So I ran it next to the seat. You can't even see it.

I also used these Posi-Tap things for splicing into my head unit. I think they worked rather well.

I didn't take pics but I ran the wires under the center console and carpet to the sub installed under passenger seat. Start by removing the seat per Antman's thread. Then remove the center console (I think also in Antman's thread... if not, you just pull up... there are some clips that pop out). The rest of my text description isn't going to make sense until you take those things apart and actually look at it.

There is a screw/bolt in the plastic side piece. Remove it to get a little slack in that piece. At this point you should be able to get your fingers in there and lift the edge of the carpet that's tucket in the center console area. I used a semi-rigid wire fishing tape to run under the carpet and out the area under the seat. Run the fish tape, use some painters tape to attach the wires to the fish tape, pull it all through. If you don't have a fish tape, use a straightened wire coat hanger. Once you get it taken apart it all makes sense and is technically very easy.

I bought a Kenwood KSC-SW11 compact, powered sub. Where do I connect the "turn on" wire from th sub? The manual says to connect it to the power control wire on the head unit. Does anyone know which wire that is on the Entune with nav, non JBL?

The Kenwood manual also says that if there is no power control wire on the head unit, then connect the wire to the accessory wire. If this is the option I have to take, which wire do I tap into?

Just bought the Kicker Hideaway and curious where the blue "remote turn on" wire connects to as well.
The instructions that comes with this unit are useless. Only way I'm understanding this hookup is by using ANTMAN's thread.
