Snatch strap/air comp. recommendation

I just purchased an 07 SR5 4Runner 4X4 w/ V6 and want to have the proper off roading equipment. I'm looking for a good quality snatch strap. ARB seems to be popular but are there other brands which do the job as well/better?

I'm also looking for a portable air compressor/tire deflators so I can adjust tire pressure for off roading in the sand (I live in the desert). Are there any decent 12V compressors which can plug into the 12V outlet or should I look into ones that connect to the 4runner's battery? I'm trying to keep the cost of the compressor around $200 or less.

Thank you for the help

I have this one. Recommended as a great bang for the buck compressor. It hooks up to the battery terminals. You might want to get a different air chuck for it though.

It inflates pretty fast. The toyota offroad magazine from one of the Yotatech guys did a compressor comparison and this one performed very well. If you do a google search you will find that it is very popular among the offroading guys. You can also get a Power Tank set up. But that is around $200.

As for the snatch strap. Pro Comp and ARB seem to be the popular ones. You would be fine with either.

Thanks for the post Kenn. The compressor you have is pretty much what I was looking for at a fraction of the cost I expected. I went ahead and ordered one.

Thanks again

The ARB comp is not made for continuous duty.
I only use mine for airing up tires when theer is an extreme need.

Keeper brand snatch straps are the best ones out there, but a little harder to find.
