snorkel ideas

so im thinking about a snorkel, for no other reason other than it looks aggressive imo. cleaner air possibilty is a plus too (from what ive read).

anyhow, i figure on spending about or less than 60 bucks. ha. my idea is to route 3inch black pvc striaght out from the box (3.slow v6, 1994 sr5) and out the fender about 20 inches from the drivers door, up the winshield pillar and stopping on top with some way to adjust the the direction its facing for various incounterable(even a word??lol) reasons. all connections sealed with pvc cement. the fender opening ill prolly make a fiberglass mold to make it look cleaner.

as well as a custom box with an extra k&n filter on top, or maybe just fine wire mesh.


thoughts?? just an idea out loud....for now

Almost 450 bucks...? I don't think so...
I have had potential customers balk at my designs of things because of the lack of decal, or something like that. A bumper comes to mind because it didn't have "Road A....." cut into the front of it....All I could tell him was "I have a plasma table...I'll cut anything you want into the damn thing"...no dice, he wanted the brand name...go figure?
