I think harper7 has a safari version of that snorkel (for the Prado150) , not sure that it ever got installed. IIRC there are a couple threads linking to other sites from guys in the East Asian region that installed snorkels for the 150 onto a 5th gen 4runner. I know fitment isn't perfect but didn't seem to bad. Personally I would go the route of waiting for Sarafi to release one for the 5th gen (could be 6m, could be never but I called about 2m ago and they confirmed that measurements and been taken and it was on the list......still does not mean it will make it to market) or go the fiberglass version from china that some guys are running on here.

Looks like they bought a Safari snorkel and made a mould out of it to produce their own. Doesn't say what the snorkel is made of though. A friend of mine bought something similar for his 2nd gen years ago (even said Safari on it) but the truck died less than a year later so I don't know how durable it would've been. If you're not in a rush I think you'd be better off waiting to see what Safari does specifically for the 5th gen first.

good points from everyone.. yea this is towards the end on the list of stuff i want for the truck.. ....skids.. F&R bumpers..a-arms.. low-pro rack.. u know.. what everyone is does haha.. i just so happened to stumble on this and sent it to many other friends in case they were interested. thought i'd share if anyone was interested in trying it out.

I run a 120 Prado snorkel on my GX from Malaysia, probably all from the same factory as the China snorkels, cant really tell the difference from a real arb snorkel, and they are made from the same LDPE material. I really like the fit and finish of mine.
