Nice runner, I really dig it. I've been tossing up the idea of making my own bumpers and such as I work in a welding shop (we do mostly handrail and fine blacksmith work for high end custom homes) but with working like a dog and having very little time I may be forced to buy armor. I have a hot date with moab in October and I don't think I could complete it by then.

Anywhere north of Bangor would be a good place. I went to a place called Kokadjo above Moosehead Lake last time I was home. Once you get up that north there is big timber business, so there are a fair amount of worn skidder trails to go down. Went bird hunting in October.

On a side of a mountain, was a lot steeper than it looks in the pic. You can make out my cousins '13 Taco a little ways down where we stopped for lunch. Beautiful scenery that time of year.

Where do you wheel in maine? im in souther maine and there is not many trails down here. but i do what i can.

New news, selling my roof rack as I want to build a new one. Purchased a cvt mt rainier and cvt batwing awning. So I am building the new rack similar to the prinsu design. I want the tent to sit low and still be easily removed. 160 dollars later I have all the steel. My build is starting to lean more toward oveland style.

New roof rack has been built, rtt mounted. Picked up a few other pieces Dometic cf40 frige/freezer, vivair 400p compressor and cvt batwing awning all waiting to be mounted.

Finally did the anytime power mod for the rear outlet and added a switch so I can shut it off if I want.

I have thought about it but I don't think it would be worth it from where I'm living. There isn't enough 3rd gen owners with disposable income in maine. Shipping something that is 88" long would be expensive.

Exactly.

Took a trip north and east today. Destination, Lubec Maine. Easternmost town in the continental USA. The drive there wasn't anything special. But I went there with two goals, go the furthest east and furthest east (legally) off road. Successful on both accounts. Here are a few pictures from the adventure.









And what fun is standing where everyone else has, I had to climb down the cliff and go as far as I could.



Here's the first spot on the beach. We had lunch here keeping out of the wind.
