What is your honest opinion of them? I have been debating on the same size and brand of tire.
So far, pavement wear has been minimal, I haven't been stuck with them but I don't go looking mud holes. They balloon nicely when aired down. I believe the bfg km2 tires were better crawling on rocks. Fierce tires seem to have a harder compound. Overall for my use, I don't think I'm going to buy another set. I plan on getting an aggressive all terrain. But if I had to go mud terrain again I'd like to try cooper tire. They seem to have great reviews.
So with winter around the corner and the days becoming shorter I've been missing the 20" LED light bar behind the grill. I wanted to do something a little different and more functional in snowy conditions. I purchased a 22" single row led light bar with 10w Cree LEDs. But that wasn't good enough. White light is highly reflective in fog or snow so I added a coating of laminex Orange. The final product, pretty awesome. I still have to mount it which should be fun.
Yes the lamin-x is a vinyl. It is much thicker than other brands. It does cost more, however it not only tints the light it also protects against rock impacts. I used it on my subaru headlights. It took some serious abuse and I just peeled it off after 3 years to reveal like new lenses. If I ever get around to doing the retrofit I will use a clear lamin-x on the them too. The kit also comes with everything needed for a professional install.

It's very bright, although light is wrapped Orange the output is Amber. I ordered some 7" white ones that should be here soon. Then I'll take some pictures.
It was a beautiful day in maine! Took the puppy for a hike and did some exploring.
I've been exploring with only a collapsable saw and figured it was time to invest in something old and reliable an axe. I didn't want to buy some new piece of crap so I did some searching. I found a vintage Collins true tempered axe head and it didn't look to be in too rough of shape. Purchased and shipped for 30 bucks. All I needed was an axe handle, found one at Home Depot for $13. It has a cheap finish so I'll refinish it.
With a little elbow grease the axe head looks beautiful again. I wanted to leave some pitting, I think it adds to its character.
