Did I see wheel slip in some of the scenes? with the wheel driving the belt based on tire friction, the limit of the system is the resistance of the tracks versus the resistance of the tire on the track.

The modularity of the system is cool.. but I think I'd rather go with the axle mounted tracks since that has a direct drive line connection.

It's a really cool concept but there is many design challenges they must overcome before it is anything more than a novelty. C'mon, rollers on the sidewall for stability? A chain to limit turn radius interference? That said, if I owned several thousand acres in the deep snow belt and I had to get out to feed my cattle or something I would use something like this.

Looks to me like the chains are "lawyer induced" safety chains, to keep these suckers from becoming heavy metal flying objects (HMFO) on the road. If you notice, the rear wheels have chains attached as well.

They also incorporate what looks like a quick connect at the wheels hub to adjust the connection between the tire/track.

I think it's a pretty neat idea!
