does anyone have any reccomendations for a snowboard rack for an 06 SE. i would like to transport 4 but 2 will suffice. and also what extra hardware would i need like locks or mounting clips if any???? thanks

I agree that rust from the salt on the road is the biggest problem with the open air racks like the Powderhound. That is one reason that I just toss the gear in the back of the 4Runner. It is a little tight in the back with the 162cm board lengthwise but it makes it. I would love an enclosed box but I only have about 9in of clearance between the top of the rack and my garage frame. It would be a pain to have to take it on and off all the time. How much effort is it to take the Thule box off the rack?
Also, what Thule rack did you end up with? Do they need special adapters to attach to the 4Runner rack?
