Then I got myself high centered trying to find its new limits. Luckily a few guys stopped to winch us out after I'd been digging for a bit.

Nearing completion with my HID Projector headlight retrofit. Gawd, what a PITA this job has turned out to be.

Yeah those can be a PITA. My last Few Subies all had retroquick kits from the Retrofit source. That was easy and done in a few hours. Im debating about doing one in mine, I tried HIDs and the glare is minimal but not right and I hate to be blinded by improper HIDs :lookout:.

Holy Hell...TK!!!
You weren't messing around when you said you ordered some suspension ...
Now that looks like some fun modding right there, what is this a 3" all around set up ?

2" rear coils

1-3" adjustable fronts. I went with the heavy duty 2.5" shocks in the coilovers and 650Lb springs.

I figured if I'm going to do it I only want to have to do it once.

When my wife gets the CC bill I know who to blame. :noidea:

There's a retroquick kit available for 2006-2009 4th gens but not the earlier models like mine (2003-2005). If I'd known it would be this much work I'm not sure I would have embarked on this.. I'm still waiting for the JB weld to cure on one of the lights - Hopefully I got it aligned correctly THIS TIME!!

Welcome... get in the run coming up in 2 weeks
And where the pics of the truck

Thanks.. I want to but the truck is all stock right now and there are a few more maintenance items I want to get done before I take her out wheeling, so hopefully I can make it out to the next one!.. here's a pic from the day I got it

TK-422 That's why you have to have a bat credit card that your wife don't know about so she won't know the charges and a bat cave to hide all the mod supply!!! LOL

Didn't know we had a BS thread. Lots of lifts going in here!

Glad the locker went well.

Thanks JBurt! It was a lot intimidating by myself...glad Miah helped me out. It wasn't bad after all said and done. Now, just need to get used to the little quirks and having to change my driving style.

nice [emoji1417] any good food spots?

Not sure on that side of Irvine, I'm closer to the spectrum. There used to be a great Italian place right off Jefferey and Harvard (I think) next to the ace hardware. Sand canyon and Irvine Blvd has a bunch of food stops, including a Jimmy John sandwich shop. Uhmm. Pizza/Italian joint off Jefferey and Alton by el pollo loco.
