That's the thing with these new distributor vendors they over promise and under deliver. I usually only do the group buys that are run straight from the vendors. :tsk: but I hope everyone gets their parts or money back.

Been a busy weekend. Installed new rear brake pads and rotor on the GX470. Only took about 2hrs. Then started to cgange out rear suapenaion on the 3rd gen. Installed OME springs and waiting on LC tokico arriving tomorrow. Then cleaned up the 231mm caliper to be ready fir rebuild and paint. A little tired.
OME 861 on left compared to Toytec 3" progressive springs right. Taller and beefier

big trip coming up in a few weeks before thanksgiving, need to buckle down and get some projects done for that.
Bought a very expensive 15ft length of 6 gauge marine duplex wire to power a BlueSea fuse box in the cargo are of the runner for a fridge and eventually on board air and water.
It's a huge biatch, but fits with the factory wire harness. Need to pull cargo side panel so I can get it tucked back there and out of the way.
Made a panel to bolt onto the Goose Gear platform for my fridge slide, while the paint dried I shot over to Costco for some samples/ lunch and toilet paper.
Forgot the TP but found beer and bourbon :shrug:
Got this all put together and installed then sharpened knives, axes and my machete just because.
Waiting on some parts to be delivered to finish up, the blue sea panel and other do-dads. Anyone have ideas on where to mount the fuse block? I'm not super keen on making holes in the plastic parts of moldings, but I'm ok ruining panels that can be replaced like the access door to the bottle jack or to the tail light. The other idea that just hit me would be to make a new access door out of wood so it wouldn't flex like the plastic panel and then also make it less likely to break/ fall out while bouncing all over the road. But I'm open to suggestions!

I've drilled most of my holes/mounts into the access doors for that same reason although at the same time I'm not really concerned about resale value.

Definitely not planning on selling (unless a diesel 4Runner or Tacoma shows up - a girl a can dream!) so same boat as you on resale!

Dude don't even think about driving around with those rear coils without extending the brake line.

Yeah! found that out real quick when I was putting the coils. Even after unbolting the brake lines and bending the top brake brackets, it still pretty stretched out. Waiting on the panhard and extended brakes from front range offroad. These coils are taller and thicker than toytec 3" springs. I think it's going to be good with load on the back.

Started wrapping up my own projects this weekend for death valley at the end of the month. Changed my serp belt to a 1" shorter since I'm running an aftermarket alt with smaller pulley. Then wired up my LED strip under the hood. Unfortunately it looks like the strip is a bust.

Dang Drunner! That engine needs some love. It's showing you to CLEAN ME!!! A little or a lot of engine degreaser spray will get that stuff off. LOL! It'll bling with the hood light!
In another note. That's one of my to do mods under the hood.

What do those toytech springs measure i mean how tall are they.? Thanks

I should have measured it but it gave the rear 3" of lift. The OME is about an 1" higher but higher spring rate. I've seen and read that it will give the rear about 5 inch lift unloaded but I have weight in the back. The rear dropped about 1 to 1.5 inch in the back with Toytec when I have camping gears in the back/roof and 2 people. I'm thinking the OME springs will give me b/w 4-5" lift and closer to 4" when loaded. I'm also going to install rear steel bumper with tire swingout, jerry can and farm jack. We'll see cause the LC shocks arrived today. I will post pix during and after build.

She keeps getting taller it seems. How much lift now?Here she is with ome 861 and LC tokico shocks. I think she sits perfect and better with a little more weight.
