So Cal 4Runner BS Thread

Build it. I can help you. A good Intel i7 coupled with a good graphics card and you can have a great computer at half the cost. Esp with black Friday deals coming up.

I need a quad core i7 and at least 16gb of ram, and an nvidia gtx750 or better! Please help!

See you already know what you want. I have a Gigabyte motherboard with built in bluetooth. I think its a z77 socket for these i7 processors. I have a cooler master case and love it. The cooling fans are big and move slower so they arent as loud. There are 2 one on top and one in the front.

LOL Mike.

Off-topic: Does anyone have a "hook-up" or is able to get a discount on computers? I'm in need of buying a new, high-performance desktop PC. :noidea:

^ This. I spent about 1k on my current computer almost 4 years ago. Water cooled AMD 8 core FX8320, 32 gb of ram, water cooled, mid tower, R290 4gb vid card. Forget which MB I have. Most of the damage was the vid card at 400 bucks at the time. Still running strong and I shouldn't have to upgrade for awhile until something breaks. Runs 24/7.

Mine is a few years old but it's not bad. Was into 3D gaming when I built it.

WOULD YOU PREFER A GAME OF CHESS?

LATER, LET'S PLAY THERMONUCLEAR WAR.

FINE.

Wahoo...early 80's movie quotes! I'm especially impressed with the WarGames quote. Well done.

Kind of dates me and only kids that grew up in the 80's would probably know that movie, unless you're a big fan of 80's movie. Now I want to watch it!

You and me both. I realized it would date me by commenting on the quote. That was a great movie! I should still have it buried in a box at my parent's house. On VHS, of course. Now that pull tab on a pay phone receiver trick...

Mine's not nearly that cool, haha. Just a standard CPU heat sink with the radiator and dual fans on a closed system. I had to get it because my vid card runs so goddamn hot the cooling fans couldn't keep up and I was having issues running WoW and Battlefield on Ultra. haha. I don't game on it anymore but it's setup great for video and photo editing.

It's been a long time since I watched that on VHS.

I remember when this movie came out this was cool...

HAHA! You're taking me back TK! I had this same pager! I couldn't afford the front screen pager. Try to fit this in your pocket.

So I just barely removed my spare tire this morning.... been trying to get it off for weeks and just this morning I realized I've been doing it wrong this whole time... been using the square end instead of the end with the hook.......:ybrick:
