omg can we do a boating day after welding day lolNothing like getting away and slowing down. Their aren't uphill climbs threatening to roll you over out there lol.
No I run the intermediate to advanced group no point by required, I've tracked all my cars previous to this car including a 09 wrx with similar mods no upgraded turbo or e85 (I'm no stranger to track days). That car had 20,000 miles on it and wasn't pinning it out every gear. It was my DD at the time and the ringlands still let go, it was protuned by a very reputable protuner (Yimisport).if you're running in the beginner/easy group (which it sounds like you will if it's your first time), track day is nothing more than 20 to 25 minutes of driving fast and learning to pick the right lines at a time. then a nice long break. then another 20 to 25 minutes of driving, and rinse and repeat. you don't have to put pedal to the metal and redline every shift if you don't want; in fact, unless you are a super talented driver, i'd argue that it's better you don't focus on that for your first time.
that car looks like it's taken care of. a fully oem car can shine at track days. you're ready, stop with the excuses :tape:

So it's definitely not how I drive at the track 2-3 warm up laps 2-3 hot laps 2-3 cool down laps. I even stop before the session finishes, it's just how EJ engines are, bearings/ ringlands are the weak points. Once I build the bottom end, install oil cooler, and get a better intercooler I'll bring it out. But until then I'll just baby it around the canyonslane:
Holy chit man. Looks tuff, but fun.my kind of boating lol

Yeah, might be dry now, but it's typically a giant mud pit. Went through some mud puddles this weekend but the deep water I'm good with avoiding, haha.
