so i think i'm going to accelerate the build-up of my rig and get lockers next month. might have to wait until january to install though because i need my other car out of the shop.
any tips/recommendations/thoughts before i jump in?
may end up buying from total automotive (the forum sponsor) since they look to be cheapest, and better to support them than 4wheelparts (not that there's anything wrong with them).
also means i'll be selling that viair 88p i just bought lol.
i'll be buying a set of rock sliders probably during the black friday sales too.

Just pulled the trigger for some synthetic winch lines from Custom Splice. An early Christmas present from the wife. Price seems too good to be true since all others are charging twice as much or more. Some of the guys in the Tacoma forums seem to like their products. Still, a lot better that those damn steel lines.

Dude, just get the rear done and use the money you save for other mods, like a super spoiler and neon lights under all four corners. On a serious note, if you don't plan on doing some serious wheeling having 4wd and a rear locker, you can pretty much tackle most obstacles.

Time to join the 33" tire crew haha! I just ordered some Cooper STT pro's in 285/70/17 for discount tire direct black Friday special. It comes with a $75 visa gift card, free shipping/ no tax since I'm in CA. Total price was $956 but with the $75 gift card deducted $881...not too bad, comes out to about $220 a tire.

Thanks man, I'm super stoked! Now I will just need to find someone to buy my old setup. My old setup did pretty well, I was very happy with it that's what really made me want to get the Cooper STT pros.
Anyone here interested in 4th gen sport wheels with Cooper ATP tires 265/70/17 (1/2 treadlife) and a full size spare same sport wheel but with a 265/65/17 tire?

working with total automotive on air lockers and installation by their preferred shop in stanton.
it's hard for me to pass on some of these black friday deals on armor, so i may end up with a full suite of armor, instead of just rock sliders like i had planned. i may end up as the reverse of [MENTION=114619]cbr900boy[/MENTION], with 4x innovations in the front and cbi in the back.
oh, and did i mention i've got a baja rack on order but i'm also on the gobi rack groupbuy list? anyone interested in a baja rack utility rack with awning mounts? their lead time is forever but i'll sell mine at my cost (no shipping). they had promised it to me by halloween. then it was by thanksgiving. but i haven't really heard much on timing in 2 weeks or so.

i assume his roof racks attach to our trucks just like the baja racks and gobi racks?

yea.. i'm considering going full 4xInnovations. wondering what their rear bumper's "light bucket" and a few other options look like though. maybe i can get an even sweeter deal if i get front, rear, sliders and a skid plate from them!
the CBI website does a better job of showing what the options look like. but it's more expensive.

Just call them direct and ask for Adam, he is very helpful. I bet they would give you some sort of discount if you buy a bunch of stuff from them. Also ask to see pics of the light bucket.

I might have to hit up Joe for his full length rack. My 3/4 rack is OK but I love big racks.
edit: anyone have his CL link? i searched but couldnt find it. I wanted to see the design.
