Well, I'm drinking a Pliney the Elder fresh off the tap at Beachwood BBQ in Long Beach right now. Really not that great of a DIPA, but it's rare.
seems like your living the life bro lol! do you work!?!

Have one of those bottles in my fridge! I didn't know any place around here actually had Pliny on tap - only rumors and myths. Will have to keep that place on my beer-radar.
I like kcsaysngo's " pics, rigs, beers" idea but have no time, 'till after the new year, unfortunately.
It pops up on occasion on draft and then disappears again. Beachwood doesn't normally have it, but if they do - well, it's rude to say no!
Make sure you drink that soon, Pliney doesn't age/sit well. Must be consumed pretty quick after bottling.

This fuxking guy! While there may be better DIPAs out there, don't act like Pliny isn't absolutely delish.Well, I'm drinking a Pliney the Elder fresh off the tap at Beachwood BBQ in Long Beach right now. Really not that great of a DIPA, but it's rare.
I haven't been in over a year, but Crow Bar in CDM always had it on tap when I visited. Also the sleeper go-to for kegs of Younger.Have one of those bottles in my fridge! So do we need a Socal drinking/brewery thread?
I just feel, for all the build up and whispers in the wind about how amazing Pliney is, when I finally tried it last year at Russian River, I wasn't prepared to be so let down. I imagined a coming to god moment and angels singing. Instead I drank a tasty DIPA, not worthy of the mysticism it has received. I did return home with a case of the stuff so I could let my friends down too, that was a fricken investment just to disappoint some people.
They did have an American Pale Ale their Segal Select that I found to be quite scrumptious.
this must be the thread where all the cool cats hangout

i don't really know much about towing, but can you get one of those hi-low/drop receivers?I think I need airbags. This sag is pretty bad. The trailer weight is around 4500-5000lbs.
