Anybody here have a tacoma(2006+) with kids. I have a 3 year old and now a newborn and they have huge car seats. Trying to convince the wife trade our '14 crv for one, as the crv was good for one child but now it's feeling pretty cramped in there

My buddy has a 2012 or 2014, can't remember, and it'll have enough room for car seats in the back. Better than the crv. If not enough room, you can always build a 3rd row on the bed and use ropes as seat belts if need be. HEHE! Love riding in the truck bed back in the day!

Yea I heard those four runners are pretty cool....
But really though I need a normal truck bed often and my 1st gen pulls trail duty and will be much much cheaper to modify to get to where I want it to be

Mines an access cab and it was tight with a carseat. You would definitely need a double cab. Backseat in the DC is slightly smaller than my 4th gen, but it would be fine for kids for quite awhile. Can't go wrong with a taco.

Haha. You don't want the cheap fj ones. My son destroyed one of those within month. This thing is legit, took me two hours of mobbing it and jumping it before I broke something. Thought for sure I'd destroy the body and give me a reason to upgrade. After multiple flips, jumps, donuts, mobbing, all I've lost is a body clip and a lower shock mount.

Dude for real. I'm already trying to source clips, mounts, gears, axles, and anything else for the middle of nowhere. This thing is so much fun just in the backyard I can't wait to get it at a campsite or middle of a trail.
