Merry Christmas guys.

I got my Baja Rack ladder.

Yay. I have been setting up a computer controlled light display for thr house. I got it all up and running yesterday. Last night I was up late sequencing some new songs and was about to go to bed. I went into the bios to look at a setting and it got corrupted. I couldn't even set it b a ck to default settings. :boom:

Now I'm moving everything to the wife's computer so I can get it running for tonight's show.

Yay! Everyone was able to enjoy the show. Lots of cars are slowing down or stopping to take a look too. Here is a small clip from me cell phone. I will get a better one with a better camera tomorrow.

Oh I ordered a i7 6400K CPU, ASUS gaming MB, GeForce 1050 w 4GB RAM, and 16 GB RAM. My computer will be running a little faster later this week.

is anyone willing to try this on their rig or has any experirence with anything like this - mountain bike tires wrapped around sliders ?

thoughts ?? concerns ?? im getting my sliders raw and unpainted so im thinking to see if i should powder coat em, rattle can em or wrap em with nobby tires like this.. huhmmm

do rattle can bedliner spray. A few guys here have it, it looks good and it holds up well. When it scratches just respray and done.

I used Rustoleum Etching Primer and Rustoleum Truck Bed Liner on my sliders and my tube front bumper :bigok:

how long ago did you do this? and how is it holding up? how many coats of each and how long did it take?

i'm likely going to do the same for my front and rear bumpers and rock sliders.

I did the same as MisterNickG about a year and a half ago and it has held up fine. I do need to touch up the bottom from the last run. I will do that when I paint my front bumper. I just used one coat of each. The bedliner paint is pretty thick.

That different and unique. If you are concerned with slippage I think tread tape would be cheaper and easier to apply. I have a couple of rolls but kinda like to slide past the bars when getting out of it.

What Chris said below, 1 coat of each, doesn't take long at all. It's holding up well but looks a little faded since I let mud cake up on it and didn't wash it. I'm going to do a retouch sometime soon.

So... I received my awning & ladder, but install is going to have to wait a couple of months since I'll be getting knee surgery :sobbing:
