If your scared of heights skip bee canyon. Google search Thomas mountain, it's off the 74. Very easy road, you probably won't need to hit any dirt roads to find snow up there right now though. Big bear is gonna be nightmare right now

And of course no matter where you end up going exercise some common sense if your rolling solo. Bring extra food,water,a shovel,etc

No problem, if I hadn't taken some damage from the last trail run I'd be willing to lead the way and show you some of my favorite go to spots for snow play up there. Have fun post some pics

Yep, I keep looking for puddles to help clean my undercarriage. Let my mom take my Tacoma to work in case it flooded where she was at. Gets hard to get out of the neighborhood sometimes when it really comes down. Her Solara almost took on water last time it was raining this hard.

The flood control channel in HB was raging today! We have some gigantic puddles in out business park, got to throwbup some waves today on my ways in and out.

Had Eibach shocks installed this weekend... Pro Truck Sport in the rear and Pro Truck Sport Leveling in the front. Eibach is developing springs for 4th gens and I know a guy, so I got hooked up with everything for testing. I'll be driving around with the new shocks + stock springs for ~6 weeks, then I'll be getting the new springs and reporting back. So far I love it. I was worried I was going to miss my XREAS, but two of the shocks were leaking anyway so it wasn't riding how it should have in the first place. Got 2½" lift in the front and it soaks everything up so nice. I have a couple big sweeping freeway interchanges on my commute, and it handles those just as well as the XREAS did. Excited to take it wheeling soon. Trying to get up to Big Bear, maybe Cleghorn again.

Did you do this yourself or have someone install them? Trying to gauge how difficult it would be.

You're telling me, I couldn't believe it either when she posted it! I couldn't wait to pass it on here. It's pretty well thought out. The person sleeps at top and uses his car as a closet. It also looks like he's got a pvc pipe, I want to speculate as a water storage. HAHA! Put some lift on and it would be money! Hopefully he has a Mr. Heater to warm him up!

Went to mountain high the back way using the 138 and mescal canyon road. Ran into a cool chp who liked the 4runner and knew it was an SR5 by the scoop lol. He said I could make it but be careful because he couldn't. He asked me to radio in on my handheld if I saw a black civic that got stuck since he couldn't. :lookout: I had a land rover and escape follow me after I told them no....and they got stuck. After I helped them I kept on truckin up and missed all the traffic. I love this truck and am happy with every penny in it. Side note who had good sliders with steps? Wife is pregnant and wants a slider step hence why I don't have them yet.

My 2000 SR5 has a scoop but it's the "highlander" edition that I believe was only available for a couple of years.
