Prinsu rack? Looks good. I've got one on order and I need to start thinking about how I'm going to mount the shovel, axe, high lift, and water port. Then I need to look at gas can mounts until I get the rear bumper.

Make sure you make it easy remove any accessories. I just had to haul a couple 4 x 8 sheets of Styrofoam and had to pull the bars off to remove the bolts that hold my maxtraxs in place.

It only took about 15 minutes but better mounts might have made it easier.

Were you able to track down a timing light?

No, you were the only one to offer. Problem with meeting you for it is I'm in a commuter van when I go through SD so everyone else in the van wouldn't be too happy if I decided to make a pit stop lol

So I'm getting my alignment done at the shop I used to work at and they have a light I can use. If that doesn't work out I'll drive down there to grab it from ya

Thank you for the offer I'll keep you updated

I have a cheapo HF timing light over here in the slums of wildomar if you need. LMK.

It looks like Piggy14 is close to Temecula. If that doesn't work out, I'd be happy to meet you along the 15 if your commuter van buddies will let you do a drive by. There are a couple of exits in Mira Mesa and Rancho Bernardo that are easy on/off.

Oh snap. Muds? Your girl is gonna love that noise, hahaha. Was hoping for new tires this month but it's gonna have to wait until April at least.

I'm running mud tires and have actually been pretty happy with the noise level. Which is to say my wife has noted how quiet they are.

Definitely love the way they handle off-road too. I think mud tires are a great fit for the terrain here in SoCal.

Just upped the muds from 31's to 33's no change except in lack of power lol
Gonna tear up all the carpet and add 2 layers of insulator and a fire wall to hopefully drown out some of the tin can noise.... Other than that, loving the hummm the muds always make

I almost pulled the trigger on 35's but at the last minute I changed my mind...

Actually it doesn't bother her at all she use to have a lifted chevy truck on muds when I met her, haha. Plus I have muds on my 3rd gen.
And muds now a days aren't like they were back in the day with all of them sounding like a super swamper or irok's ...whom whom whom whom freight train coming at you or having to max out your stereo just to hear the music ..haha

Damn. That's a great price. Cheapest I've seen my next set is still over a grand before install. (5 NEW 35x12.50R17 Kanati Mud Hog M/T Mud Tires MT 35 12.50 17 R17 10 ply | eBay)

Of course I need to take care of a bodylift before then. Just can't figure out whether I'm going 1, 1.25 or 1.5.

Well before you do that ...cause I could have gotten the kanati's for 680 or 5 35's for 8 or 850. Thunder's 640 ..kenda's 660...etc etc

Oh and I would stay in the 1" -1.25 BL range

Can you share where you got these prices? Is this a temporary deal? I would buy a set and sit on them a bit at that price (my 33s still have plenty of tread).

And yeah, 1-1.25 is most likely. Probably just 1 and some more hammering. Worried about my bumpers and sliders with the BL.

Smart staying at 1" ...pm you
