So through PM, we have determined he has one of the original arms with no zerks. Pretty hard to grease a ball joint with no zerk. Again, this is just another SPC quality issue, pure and simple.
So this happened...what would you do?

Yeah, those are no name brand ebay junk. Not apples to apples by any means.

The amount of people defending a company with catastrophic failures of a critical component after multiple re-designs is hilarious. To save what, $200 total??

I missed that, my bad. I'm certainly not defending spc, add me to the regret getting them list.... Just trying to figure out who makes a good one to replace my spc's...

When I saw the first pic I assumed these were the old style BJ. confirmed.
SPC figured out a way to warranty out my non-zerk style no problem when I developed a loose ball joint with only 10k miles on it and contacted them. I would encourage anyone with the non-greaseable style to contact SPC and see how they can get the new style. I'm at 35k now on the new style with grease fitting, no issues, grease them every 5k with my oil change. Last oil change I pulled them off and pulled the boots off for a good cleaning, there was all clean grease inside the ball joint, but dirty grease in the boot and small tears in the boot not sure what from but didn't look like a dry/cracked boot. I put a new pair of boots on for $10. Original arm bushings still tight at 45k miles total. I wouldn't hesitate to buy or recommend SPC again given the price point, non-uniball, and amount of adjustment I can do myself without relying on the local tire shop for their (un)alignments.
