My past two cars have been out of state because I was offered better pricing. You can take you car to get serviced at any dealer. However, there maybe some perks that are off limits, i.e., bmw loaner car vs. enterprise loaner car. My current and past 4Runner gets serviced at the local dealer for convience. Besides I change the oil myself using synthetics.
So this is what the "stealer" did....

Dealerships make money with the service and warranty and want your business. But if like mine, the Toyota dealers are true "Maytag repairmen". I once laughed with a service manager just sitting at his desk about the lack of Toyota car problems. The service garage seems to sit empty.
Not like the Big 3 dealers where you get into a line in the morning to get written up and worked over in repair costs. Never more...

Awesome job. You took the cash right out of their greedy little hands. That had to kill them. It is too bad you didn't get what you wanted, but it is nice to hear that you stuck it too them.
I purchased my 4Runner from Laurel Toyota in Laurel, MD. They had an excellent price and did not have any negotiations. I saved thousands of dollars when I did not buy from the local dealers in NC.
If the 4Runner is not listed on their site, contact them and they will let you know when one is expected in.
I wish they ran a Lexus dealership. I would love to see their prices on the GX470s.
