Oh Oh Oh....a thought just hit me........
Last time we had a situation arrise of where are the bathrooms for the gal's? Well for this run I would have to say that at any point and time the guys need to drain the lizard we all go to drivers side of the trail.....Gals you go opposite side and we promise not to look. BRING SOME TP. There are no pottys on the trail till the end.

Good to note. You seem to know a lot about the trail. How long does it take approx.. You comfortable with being trail leader as well?

I probably wont have a cb to use in time, you think i'll be fine with my buddies motorola radios? I think he might even have a handheld cb....? Ill have to ask him.

Yeah I don't know about that. I am running off my limited memory at best but I will say with a collected amount of mind power we should be ok but I will try my best.

Hand helds will be fine. There were some guys last time that had them.

Just being able to have some decent communication between vehicles, other than flashing lights and horns, is good to have.

I would say that lets save the horns for stops in a 911 situation or a mechanical failure.


By the way, anyone going know how to do the zero point cal on 4th gens?
I sure could use one.

Ok cool sounds good I'm sure we will be fine navigating. Yea I can zero calibrate but you have to come by my work so I can hook up the scan tool!

August 4th at 9:00 AM (please try to be on time)
Easy trail run going from Angelus Oaks up to Boulder Bay area of Big Bear. Route will be Middle Control Road to 1N09 to 1N54(Clarks Grade) Some may prefer to park and enjoy Lunch or afternoon meal in Big Bear. With a large turn out it may take longer then anticipated to complete the trail. Please be prepared for varying weather and enough food and water to last the entire day.

Difficulty:
Low to Medium depending on weather damage.

Meeting Location:
34754 Mill Creek Rd
Mentone‎ California‎ 92359
(This is actually a Forest Service station)
It is right after Bryant street on the right hand side and won't be hard to miss!

LOL thats how the last run was. Except instead of being out of town I always work! As far as detail updates its just as JadatheRottweiler describes. All details are the same as of right now but we can always still caravan depending on where people are coming from. Like I posted earlier in the Forum I live on the border of Riverside/Corona off the 91 if anyone wants to meet up beforehand and cruise up together and I know 810 Moto is coming from the Long Beach area off the 22 East if anyone wanted to caravan with his as well. SpitVenom said he was possibly coming to meet up with us and he said he is in the Rancho Cucamonga/ Ontario area off the 15 if anyone wanted to meet or cantact him through PM to make sure. Other than that Saturday the 4th at 9:00 AM its on! :lookout:
 
Hmm... I was thinking about taking the bronco out for one last hoorah with the gasser, but I think I will get the TE broken in! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Never really been a huge Ford fan but I can sure appreciate a lot of hard work put into a truck. Still working on mine and plan to for quite a while. Would love for you to join us!
 
No longer have my 4Runner, but may check this out as I've relocated to SoCal.

How tight are these trails? I've got a Tundra now, its 4x but not lifted yet.

Gonna be first time for me but from research and what others say the trial is pretty moderate. I like doing trail runs but not trashing my truck since its my daily so If I had to guess Id say you would be just fine....
 
Come one come all, if you're short or if you're tall and even if you wear a bra.
It doesn't matter what you drive as long as it doesn't catch on fire. It's like they said growing up on a Friday night at the drag strip, run what ya brung.
