I figured I would start a thread for the SOCAL T4R owners professionals.

I realize there is a "what do you do" General thread.

This will be a nice way to network in case someone is seeking work or employer looking for someone.

I'll start - I work in IT at UCI on the applications support team.

Software installation, configuration and support for Kronos Web based Time and Attendance. I like to say I spent my time with T&A. -- Retired, the job was interfering with my personal and off-road time.

This is a awesome idea for sure, I may be bias since i am looking for a new Job and not had much luck up in Nor Cal but I am no stranger to working remote.

Project Manager for Network implementation/Integration/Installation, Cisco products and more.

I have done some Project Management here at UCI and I dig it quite a bit.
I would like to get certified and do it full time but unemotionally you need hours, so maybe in a few years.

Are you registered at the PMI.org website?
For PM jobs, I have had most success at indeed.com
Also, check sony.com directly, they have a bunch of PM jobs all the time in Orange county area.

um its cool

but it definitly has its perks, we have a polaris 700 ranger xp and its raining right now so i think everyone can guess what ive been doing lol

So I am actually not registered with PMI right now and currently I am building up my hours to eventually get the PMP Cert.-not easy from what I have heard

I do have a certificate from the University of Phoenix in Project Management which is based on the PMBOK.

I do use indeed a lot just not a lot of love in the area I live. Would likely be easier if I moved to the Bay area or So Cal for sure.

You dont have to be certified to be a member of the website.
Its not only for certified individuals but for those like you and I that want to get certified.
