Softer than normal Sway Bar

So, in the process of slowly upgrading/fixing what is wearing out... Has anyone noticed that after they changed to other shocks from XREAS that your sway bar feels really soft? I know that there is a kit for the rear from AntiRock... is there a simple one for the front? I dont want to spend a ton of money on a system that in the end will only get me back to stock... I use my rig for Rally Sweep and we are treating our rigs like Baja Trucks.

Notice the lean, this is only going about 30 mph into a turn and braking. If I do go to stiffer coils and maybe spend a bit more on shocks, will I see an improvment?

Softer than usual bar? It happens man, nothing to be emberassed about. Plenty of good pharma out there for that.

Stock fronts are good solid bars but my rear (had XREAS) was a silly hollow bar. I went with aftermarket when it broke. It's nice and hard now.

I would go with some stiffer coils and/or airbags in the rear to, you know, make your soft bar feel hard again.

The front is hollow as well, a lot of OEM bars seem to be hollow when they get to thicker diameters. I think it has to do with the center not being as critical to torsional forces in larger diameters as much as wall thickness? I could be wrong though.

My front is solid for cetain but my original rear was hollow. It's pretty apparent when lifting them which is hollow and which isn't. I had to cut an old front sway off so I'm sure it's solid.

That's weird... my V8 SE's was hollow:

Damn. Much more significant than the rear but not solid as I remembered, that's what mine looked like. The rear is more like a wire conduit than a truck part which I do remember well since it was recent. Obviously, I can be wrong. :tongue1:
