I'm assuming that's mud.. mild soap water and a bucket

A soft cloth and warm soapy water to get the mud and grit up, then I'd surely hit it with Aerospace 303.

Dude, Softex is a fancy name for vinyl. Simply use warm water with a bit of soap and several rags. That's all you need. There is no "deep clean" for vinyl. You just wipe it off.
Don't use paint thinner lol.

Nice! Hoping to get mine offhighway for the first time tomorrow. Going to play around in the mountains in North Central Washington.. Spouse would kill me if I got it that dirty inside though.
Did you leave your windows down or something? lol
My interior looked like that after I ate too much once and projectile vomited into the window.

In all seriousness I agree with the mild soap and water on a rag. I usually use griot's garage interior cleaner or chemical guys interior cleaner, but I've never had my interior that dirty.
You might need to clean that with the popes holy water. :lmao:

Yup. She's pissed. Reason #1 I have to get this straightened out. She said, "I hope you learned something from this". I assured her that I did in fact learn I need different tires before I try that again. She hung up.

That's what the outside of the 4Runner is supposed to look like!
If the mud is dry I would suggest a vacuum cleaner with the soft brush attachment first.
Try to get the gritty part out first before just smearing it around with a wet cloth.
Good luck! Don't forget to post up with your results when it's all cleaned out!

lol. It'll clean up easier than if you had the cloth interior. As others said, just start wiping, start up high and work your way down.
Or just drop it off at the local detail shop and tip the guy preemptively.
And next time, try more speed (with the windows/moonroof closed) !!

OP, confession time: EVERYONE has to do what you did sometime in their life. I used to get my truck dirty like yours 35 years ago. It only took a few times of getting water up into the cab, taking carpets out and pressure washing them, and the ALL DAMN DAY Sunday job of cleaning the crap out of the interior and undercarriage to learn not to do it again. Thanks for all the responses everyone. I really do appreciate it. I didn't even think to RTFM because I hate reading and seem to be adverse to taking the correct path to find the answer (hence my predicamet). So I started with some Simple Green (blue) and here we are so far.
