Solara headlight switch (DRL off?)

Anyone try know if a headlight stalk switch that has the DRL OFF setting will work on an 01-02 runner? (this is for a 01-03 Solara)

this looks to be the correct stalk, however its not simple plug n' play...

there is a write up around here for the wiring but photo bucket is causing me to scream photo-phuckit...

i just snagged one from a 99-01 es300 that looks identical.

I hope more people chime in on this topic.

I ebayed a 99-03 Solara stalk that wouldn't fit the column mount. 99-01 have part number, 02-03 have dif part number. DRL mod 2.0 shows it can be done, up in the air about what stalk to use.
