Some would suggest you do this over the phone, but most dealers do not take this seriously ... nor would I. ymmv.

Probably not over the phone. But you get it in email with their internet/fleet sales team, those are generally much more solid, as they deal online/email all day long.

I really don't understand the TRD PRO phenomenon. It's an overpriced 4Runner.

That 5,000 is crazy. I picked up my inferno TRDPro up at 1,100 under MSRP two weeks ago. Don't pay that shop around. I did have to wait on it for three months.

When I started looking for pro's, USAA was the best price around. I settled on a '15 trail though. Good luck.

I found the same thing when looking a few months ago. I decided on a TEP and spent the additional money making it *better* than a Pro.

Now if I could stomach spending $600 on the new plastic nose I'd be all set.

My local dealer had a white TRD pro with a 5k mark up as well. I made them an offer of 1k under msrp and they didn't take it. It ended up sitting inside for about 3 months till someone bought it.
