Some things i need answers for Please!!!!

I have a 1995 Toyota 4RUNNER, SR5 4x4, going to do the Old Man Emu suspension lift, i am not sure if i should do that LC/FJ Coil lift, or the Standard 2" lift, also will do the torsion bars too.
When i do the lift, I understand theres something called a drop down bracket or something like that.#1 Can i do the barcket an lift my self or will i need to go to a shop because of modifications.... this isnt going to be a monster truck, just my ultimate Flyfishing/Hunting rig an everydat driver.Also where or whom do you reccomend that i should get my bracket an Old Man Emu kit from?

My other question is this, darn back or rear bumber is rusted through..is there a better after market option, i can't believe Toyota had gone and made three pieces to this. I need also to replace this. Can any of you reccomend what to do?

I had the OME medium duty springs and shocks installed on my truck and love it. I had a shop do the install though. They charged me about $200 for the install. But they said they should have charged me more, due to the lift.

You should not have an issue installing the lift yourself. Toytec sells the whole kit for about $600. There are tons of aftermarket bumpers, just read through the forums.

The OME kit doesn't require any drop brackets--those are only for taller lifts. Coils, torsion bars, and shocks--that's it (unless you add the steering stabilizer, too--not a bad idea).

i was hoping someone here had some pics of the rear bumper they found as a replacement and a source of where to get/order one that is reputable and wont cost a mountain of coin.
I am going to do the heavy duty kit from Old Man Emu, but still wondering about the drop down bracket, an still need a rear bumper.

I guess you must've missed my post, then--there is NO NEED for drop brackets on the OME kit for 2nd Gens. I know--I've had one. As for the rear bumper, I would think salvage yards would work for a stock replacement--there are still many out there with minimal rust issues, and you could get the whole 3-pc as one. Otherwise, there are many nice tube-style aftermarket ones that won't break the bank (Low Range Offroad, All Pro, Trail Gear, etc.).

Bucknut, thank you for your replies, I am gonna go with Old Man Emu products for sure, i like the standard heavy duty kit {2"lift} was considering the FJ or LC coil kit though. As for Rear Bumper , i hate the rust issue of the standard three piece that is Toyota's bad idea. I want a safe bumper, an one that one rust. I really love my 1995 an want to keep it going as long as i can.
Bad Vision thanks but that bumper is what i already have an is what i want to get away from.
