Someone just hit my rig!

I wake up to a car bouncing it off the rev limiter and look out neighbors outside with no shirt on. I go look and see the road sparkling. Get shoes on and go see. Some ass hit my truck and took off! Pics to follow. Were out with the police looking for him.

We just got back. And I'm going back to bed. Hit me truck at like 2 and we've been driving around since looking for him. The police are still out and a turn signal oh the road pointed us towards a silver Hyundai. And since were in a small neighborhood they feel like they've got a pretty good chance of finding him. I'll get oics up in the morning its still to dark to get any clear ones,

The cops I have chatted with tell me they are seeing a ton more hit and runs.

They speculate that given the crappy economy, some drivers cannot afford insurance, and choose to drive anyway.:bash:

Can't afford insurance, but they someone manage to pay the bar tab that often leads to the hit and run.

That's the back tire. Can't really see it but there's like a 2 foot skid mark to where its sitting.

You can see how far the back end got pushed out onto the side walk.

And theres the trail of oil.

Dang...that had to have torn that other vehicle up. Hopefully they can find it, either abandoned or at a shop, and figure out who did it.

Exactly. We can't believe he could even drive off. He had no coolant. There was a giant puddle of it by the runner. And then that trail of oil. Cop even tested it and said it was oil. It goes for a couple miles.
But there was an in tact turn signal on the road that had a part number and a Hyundai logo on it. That with me and the neighbor seeing a silver car points the police toward and 02 silver Hyundai elantra...
