Something missing under my t⁴r?

I didn't have much luck googling around for undercarriage pics

That almost looks like the bottom cover that they drop down to get to the filter and drain plug is missing

Nothing missing. At least probably never had anything there to go missing. My 4R and FJ have them and they have never had anything attached to them. Don't know why they are there.

My limited has a plastic shield aprox. 12"x12"in that location.

This was brought up another time, that is normal, only certain models have the plastic piece that attaches. I tossed mine when I replaced with rci skids. I can't remember if only LE has them or SR5 as well.

Ditto here - my 2015 TE has them too. One of these days I'll get around to checking if they are threaded or not. Anyone know?
